Pharmacy Technician I - FT - Days - Up to $5K Sign On Bonus - MRH
Responsibilities
- Performs prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.
- Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross trains in more advanced functions when deemed appropriate.
- Assists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and completing medication histories.
- Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy operations and within the pharmacy technician scope of practice.
- Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas.
- Repackages bulk medications.
- Assists with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students.
- Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.
- Processes medication charges/credits when applicable.

- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

Education and Certification Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. A Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL) is also required.
