Pharmacy Technician II

Summary

Performs a variety of activities to assist in dispensing medications throughout appropriate areas of the Hospital; delivers medications to nursing units, prepares injectable medications, unit doses, IV admixtures, etc.; completes necessary record keeping and performs other duties as assigned. Works in partnership with other staff members and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers' needs using the LifeBridge Health customer service standards as identified on each campus.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of pharmacy experience
• High School / GED
• Pharmacy Technician License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Promotable to Pharm Tech Certification and obtain PTCB certification within 18 months of employment
