A Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician, you have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger. You will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. Responsibilities

• Supporting pharmacists and other pharmacy staff in providing quality patient care
• Dispensing medications accurately and safely
• Assisting patients with their medication needs and answering questions about medications
• Preparing medications according to prescribed dosages and directions
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of medications dispensed
• Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean and organized
• Performing administrative tasks such as filling out forms and maintaining inventory
• Providing immunizations where allowed by law

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements)
• Fast-paced environment tolerance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent training
• Ability to pass a background check
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and safety protocols

• Computer literacy, including proficiency with pharmacy software
