How you’ll make an impact in this role

Serve as a liaison between patients, pharmacists, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely access to medications.
Coordinate prior authorizations and assist with resolving insurance and medication access barriers and other tasks.
Support medication adherence efforts through patient outreach, follow-up, and education.
Provide high-quality customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving prescription-related issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate documentation and work efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Must possess all state and local qualifications.   • Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences We're Seeking

  • Active and in good standing: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
  • 5+ years of retail pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail, mail-order, or health plan setting.
  • Proficiency in insurance claim adjudication, including troubleshooting and prior authorization processing.
  • Experience with cold calling patients regarding medication need.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Part D and medication adherence quality measures.
