Pharmacy Tech Trainee

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician Trainee performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or the equivalent is required, or currently enrolled in a program which awards such a degree or certificate.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required within 1,500 hours of hire or 1 year whichever is shorter.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee is required upon hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $16.42 - USD $26.72 /Hr.

Schedule

Rotation Schedule Requirement: Every third weekend rotation
