Position Summary

Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and managing pharmacy operations.

What you'll do...

• Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Maintains the Pharmacy area by handling claims and returns, utilizing equipment for merchandising functions, and completing paperwork.
• Maintains professional reputation by assisting the pharmacist in prescription fulfillment, processing insurance claims, and providing member services.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving orders, counting, measuring, and labeling medications, and operating scanning equipment.
• Verifies and enters patient information into the TaSCO system, retrieves prescriptions, and completes documentation.
• Provides member assistance during prescription pickup, verifies information, and logs sales of restricted pharmaceutical items.
• Completes work assignments by following policies, data, and resources, and adapting to changes.
• Complies with company policies and standards by acting with integrity and supporting the organization's goals.
• Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing priorities, and considering the impact on team performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) within 9 months of job entry.
