Position Summary
Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and managing pharmacy operations.
What you'll do...
- Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
- Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Maintains the Pharmacy area by handling claims and returns.
- Maintains the prescription fulfillment process by processing information for third-party insurance claims.
- Provides patient/member service by assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process.
- Enters prescription data into pharmacy software.
- Fills prescriptions by retrieving orders and operating scanning equipment.
- Verifies and enters patient information into the TaSCO system.
- Completes work assignments by following policies, data, and resources.
- Ensures a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements
Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
