About the role

The Pharmacy Technician II is licensed to practice as a Pharmacy Technician and is registered with the State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas. This entry level technician will assist the Pharmacist in medication distribution functions, IV compounding, and other duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in medication distribution functions
• Perform IV compounding
• Perform other duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License with the State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas (in good standing)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification (preferred)
• Pharmacy technician work experience within the past year or graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
• Ability to meet or exceed all performance standards of a Pharmacy Technician I
