About the role
Assists in all aspects of staff and departmental management while fostering a professional practice environment focused on safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs daily operational activities of the department, including staffing assignments and workflow coordination.
- Serves as the primary on-shift operational leader, ensuring efficient workflow and appropriate escalation of issues.
- Organizes and coordinates pharmacy staff activities to meet departmental responsibilities, including oversight and optimization of pharmacy automation and software used in daily operations.
- Provides coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff to promote accountability and development.
- Supports implementation of clinical and operational initiatives in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
- Assists pharmacy leadership in enforcing organizational policies and procedures related to the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, and disposal of pharmaceuticals.
- Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
- Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
Requirements
- Graduate of a School of Pharmacy with BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of Montana.
- Five (5) years' experience in a healthcare system preferred.

Pay
Starting Wage: $130,145.60/annual
