About the role
The Medication Assistance Liaison acts as a liaison between the patient and organization or manufacturer while supporting the organization's objectives of quality customer service. This role focuses on free drug enrollments and applications, copay assistance and/or prior authorizations, in addition to any medication assistance needs. The liaison coordinates care to ensure completion of all assigned activities and conducts necessary research to determine eligibility for various programs and benefits. The role may also analyze reports or queues to assess patient eligibility and work closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendor representatives for continuous customer service and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between patients, organizations, and manufacturers to facilitate medication assistance programs.
- Handle free drug enrollments, applications, copay assistance, and prior authorizations.
- Coordinate care to ensure completion of all assigned activities.
- Conduct research to determine patient eligibility for various programs and benefits.
- Analyze reports or queues to assess patient eligibility.
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendor representatives for customer service and follow-up.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, Training, or equivalent experience.
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Critical thinking skills and effective communication.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment.
- Decisive judgment and ability to take appropriate action when required.

Pay
Estimated pay range for this position is $22.53 - $29.29 per hour, depending on experience.
