Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy, $7,000 Bonus, FT, 2:30P-11P

Responsibilities

• Fills and labels medications
• Refills Pyxis
• Delivers medications to patient care areas
• Prepares IV admixture solutions
• Answers the telephone and directs calls
• Maintains medication stock levels
• Maintains proper storage of medications

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician license
• One year pharmacy hospital technician experience (or equivalent experience)
• Graduate of the BHSF Pharmacy Technician Program
• PTCB or ExCPT Certification preferred and required within the year for sterile compounding

Qualifications

• High School, GED, or equivalent
• One year pharmacy hospital technician experience (or equivalent experience)
• Graduate of the BHSF Pharmacy Technician Program
• PTCB or ExCPT Certification preferred and required within the year for sterile compounding

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Proficiency in using information systems, technology, and automation

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $24.53 / hour depending on experience.
