Responsibilities

• Fills and labels medications
• Refills Pyxis
• Delivers medications to patient care areas
• Prepares IV admixture solutions
• Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate staff
• Maintains medication stock levels
• Maintains proper storage of medications

Requirements

• High School, GED, Certificate, Training, or Equivalent
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license
• NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician certification
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent)
• Experience with sterile products preparation, medication history, or specialty area

Qualifications

• 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent setting)
• PTCB or ICPT Certification required

SkillsBasic computer skills

Proficiency in using information systems, technology, and automation

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $20.02 - $26.03 / hour depending on experience.
