Responsibilities
- Performs to required standards for job specific responsibilities and technical competencies.
- Maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy.
- May perform the responsibilities of a pharmacist-in-charge, or license holder according to Federal, State of Utah, or other relevant states, or laws and regulations.
- Manages labor and non-labor expenses to budget or flex budget.
- Manages revenue to budget to maximize potential revenue.
- Responsible for patient satisfaction scores within assigned area(s).
- Responsible for upholding PROMISE standards of direct reports and team members.
- Responsible to achieve quality goals for assigned area(s).
- Manages and promotes continuous process improvements in assigned area(s).
- Provides staff feedback on performance, including on-time appraisals and coaching.
- Deals with conflicts in a proactive manner and reaches resolution in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD or MS) or equivalent clinical practice experience.
- Health System Pharmacy administrative residency or at least 1 year of practice experience.
- Licenses Required: Current licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah, current Pharmacist license in the State of Utah.
