About the role

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, this position oversees the pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and collaborates with clinic partners to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive consumer and clinic partnership experience
• Partner with clinical staff to support their clinical outcomes
• Counsel and educate patients on medication usage and side effects
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Perform wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots
• Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff
• Drive marketing plans and materials to promote pharmacy offerings
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
• Manage workforce planning and business planning
• Promote the pharmacy business with the community and stakeholders
• Be customer-centric, develop others, communicate enterprise purpose, and assure results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist's license in the state of Alaska
• Training or willingness to train in LAI administration
• Current certification as a Certified Immunizer or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmacy leadership experience

Pay

The salary for this role ranges from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. Other benefits include a drug-free workplace policy and equal employment opportunity commitment.
