About the role
The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, this position oversees the pharmacy's operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and manages the financial and clinical aspects of the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive consumer and clinic partner experience
- Partner with clinical staff to meet their clinical outcomes
- Counsel and educate patients on medication usage and side effects
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Perform wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots
- Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff
- Build relationships with the community and stakeholders
- Drive marketing plans and materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Vermont
- At least 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in a similar role
- Unrestricted pharmacist license in this or another state for at least 1 year
- Certified immunizer or willing to become certified within 3 months of hire
- Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willingness to obtain authorization within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience
- Experience administering long-acting injectables

Pay
The salary for this role ranges from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
