About the role

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, this individual oversees the pharmacy’s operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and manages the financial and clinical aspects of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive consumer and clinic partner experience, building strong relationships and addressing their needs proactively.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support their clinical outcomes and educate patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and standards, including immunizations and preventive services.
  • Drive financial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to enhance their performance and align with core values.
  • Manage workforce planning and business planning to maintain operational excellence.
  • Promote the pharmacy’s offerings and engage with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months of hire.
  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
  • Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing a pharmacy team.
  • Knowledge of managed care pharmacy practices.
  • Experience in healthcare administration or related field.
