About the role

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the manager oversees the pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and drives financial growth through innovative strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive consumer and clinic partner experience
  • Partner with clinical staff to meet clinical outcomes
  • Counsel and educate patients on medication usage and side effects
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards
  • Perform wellness services like immunizations and flu shots
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff
  • Build relationships with the community and stakeholders
  • Drive marketing plans and materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in Kentucky
  • Current certification as a Certified Immunizer or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience

The salary range for this role is $112,700 to $193,200 annually, subject to eligibility requirements.
