Pharmacy Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager oversees the overall management of the Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Norcross, GA. Soleo Health offers competitive wages, a 401(k) with a match, and various benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, disability, life insurance, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Directs pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective operations.
• Ensures compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and state BOP regulations.
• Compiles prescriptions, solutions, and medications accurately and promptly.
• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patient, drug, and disease information.
• Prepares formulations for solutions/medications and ensures their accuracy.
• Interfaces with physicians and referral sources as required.
• Serves as a drug information resource to the sales force and participates in team selling and sales support.
• Participates in and maintains an on-call schedule for pharmacists.
• Completes managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, and approving payroll.
• Develops team goals and objectives, conducts performance reviews, resolves conflicts, and plans strategically.

Requirements

• Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experience.
• Minimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compounding.
• Efficiency in CPR +/Care Tend is desired.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of GA.
• Willingness to obtain TN state Pharmacist license.

Skills

• Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
• Experience in compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services.
• Ability to prepare formulations and assess patient information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

On-call availability as backup
