Pharmacy Engagement Specialist

Major Responsibilities

• Leadership of the implementation of a unified build approach to medications in Expanse.
• Executes the Medication Management Alignment process and effectively communicates how current and future initiatives/projects advance patient care.
• Engages and manages change for facility and division Pharmacy leadership.
• Promotes current Expanse initiatives and fosters an environment for ongoing practice improvement and organization learning.
• Collaborates with divisions and facilities on developing implementation timelines and ensures completion of implementation activities.
• Serves as a resource for divisions and facilities implementing standards, addressing questions and providing feedback to the MMA Team at Corporate.
• Supports the development and implementation of inventory analysis, including inventory run-down plans and procurement of medication inventory gaps identified in gap analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Acute Care Pharmacy experience.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in healthcare.
• Minimum of 1 year Clinical/Pharmacy Informatics and Electronic Health Record experience, with experience in implementations preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist (U.S. based).
• Graduate of an accredited PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency program (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited PGY2 Informatics residency program (preferred).
