About the role

The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use, aligning with regulatory standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees medication safety and quality measures in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Promotes safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical care
  • Maintains drug utilization and addresses drug shortages
  • Develops and supports the professional growth of pharmacy staff
  • Learns and shares knowledge with nursing and medical staff to improve departmental and organizational goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. (required)
  • Pharmacy residency (preferred, not required)
  • Pharmacist licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy (required)
  • BPS board certification (preferred, not required)
  • 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience (required)
