About the role

The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use, aligning with regulatory standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversees medication safety and quality measures in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Promotes safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical care
- Maintains drug utilization and addresses drug shortages
- Develops and supports the professional growth of pharmacy staff
- Learns and shares knowledge with nursing and medical staff to improve departmental and organizational goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. (required)
- Pharmacy residency (preferred, not required)
- Pharmacist licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy (required)
- BPS board certification (preferred, not required)
- 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience (required)
