Pharmacy Admissions Specialist
Overview
This role will ensure our data in our electronic health records on patient information is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is a person who thrives on ensuring accuracy and has proficient data entry skills.
Responsibilities
- Complete all manual admissions
- Navigate multiple electronic health records - ADT integrated admissions
- Enter and verify all new patient information
- Update patient changes i.e. rooms, beds, status as needed
- Evaluate level of care and load short stay dates when applicable
- Basic general insurance review (E1D, E1 Commercial and Medicaid)
- Customer Agreement processing
Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office suite
- Proficient data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Organizational skills to adapt to the needs of the current situation
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Must be flexible to work shift requirements including rotating weekends
