About the role
As a key member of the Crossroads team, this position will provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to patients with opioid use disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a pharmacist license in Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Administering MAT therapies including buprenorphine, methadone, and other FDA-approved medications
- Providing counseling and support to patients to help manage their opioid use disorder
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient medications and treatment progress
- Participating in continuing education programs to stay current with the latest research and best practices in MAT
Requirements
- A current pharmacist license in Virginia
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
- Experience in MAT preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
