Responsibilities

• Ensures the safe, effective, and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Provides medication therapy management and patient education.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to promote safe medication use and regulatory compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• All job responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or a Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Completion of pharmacy internship requirements as defined by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current and active Pharmacist license issued by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• This position is for a floater pharmacist.
• Applicants must be willing to work at any Kettering Health Retail pharmacy.
