Responsibilities
- Complete all residency program competency areas, educational goals, and objectives as outlined by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
- Actively participate in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
- Develop and complete a major performance improvement or research project under a designated preceptor’s guidance.
- Fulfill all required and elective rotations and assigned projects.
- Demonstrate competency in managing weekend and evening shifts, including on-call, clinical, and distributive duties.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Be licensed (within 3 months of hire) and in good standing with the relevant State Board of Pharmacy.
- Membership in professional pharmacy organizations is encouraged.
- Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) training within 3 months and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 4 months of hire.
