About the role

As part of the healthcare team, practices pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, integrating patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Advises on drug interactions, contraindications, and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every fourth weekend

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active GA Pharmacy license

Qualifications

• Previous ICU/PCU experience (preferred)
• Residency training (preferred)
• One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Good communication skills
