Pulmonary/Renal Pharmacist

About the role

This position services pulmonary and renal inpatient units. As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
• Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, adults and geriatrics.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Good communication skills.
