Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for R&I Primary Care Team

About the role
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the R&I Primary Care Team, you will channel our scientific capabilities to positively impact patients' lives by educating and engaging healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles.
- Function independently to drive sales performance, meeting or exceeding sales forecasts and assigned budgets.
- Complete training requirements, including product examinations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information for your assigned territory.
- Partner with your District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to develop a local strategy and business plan to increase sales in your territory.
- Capitalize on formulary approvals and opportunities using promotional, personnel resources, and analytical tools to enhance effectiveness.
- Provide special education to healthcare providers through programs within AstraZeneca’s ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to coordinate selling efforts around common objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-2+ years of experience.
- A driver’s license and safe driving record.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry, preferably within Respiratory therapeutic areas.
- Prior sales experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability.
- Results-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information.

Pay
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $81,714 to $182,756.
