About the role

Inizio Engage partners with a leading Biotechnology company, focusing on Commercial, Patient Solutions, and Medical Affairs. We are seeking a performance-driven Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative with strategic problem-solving skills who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory/primary market results measured in referrals and new prescriptions in assigned geography.
  • Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating Generalists, focusing on identifying patients in their care.
  • Gain access and key insights by cold calling on key accounts and editing lead lists to ensure correct targets are reached with appropriate frequency.
  • Validate Healthcare Providers (HCPs) have a child eligible for therapy and edit account lists as needed.
  • Provide account feedback to leadership regarding market intelligence.
  • Deploy in key markets with highest potential, taking on a primary and secondary market approach to maximize reach and frequency of results.
  • Accountable for tracking activities in CRM system (reach and frequency).
  • Deliver approved educational messaging where relevant.
  • Drive awareness of the product among assigned targeted HCPs.
  • Assist clients in understanding how and when an HCP would refer a patient.
  • Provide disease state and product education to referring HCPs.
  • Connect Account Manager with office/family via opt-ins to validate offices have a patient.
  • Accountable for individual performance, including heavy volume of cold calling on all targeted healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of pharma experience focused on primary care call points, with a desire to enter rare disease.
  • Pediatrics/Generalists experience strongly preferred.
  • Comparable and/or strong B2B experience with a desire to enter pharma (device, diagnostics background).
  • Cold calling experience in healthcare or previous work experience.
  • Experience with office-based selling in a complex model of referral-healthcare-providers to prescriber-healthcare-providers in a newly created market.
  • Experience working in a field team model with account managers.

Qualifications

  • Must maintain a high level of knowledge within the disease state and product labeling.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $60K – $111K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate fieldwork.
