About the role

• Performing aseptic technique in a biosafety cabinet (BSC) with routine maintenance of mammalian cell cultures (typically maintained for 2–3 months in support of in vivo models), including feeding, passaging, cell counting and viability assessments.
• Preparing biological tissue samples and performing established assays with radiometric detection (gamma counter, liquid scintillation counting) and "cold" detection by LC-MS/MS.
• Maintaining and upkeep of analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, LC-MS and other analytical platforms as needed.
• Operating and maintaining an automated liquid handling system (Hamilton STAR).
• Following all laboratory safety practices, including those related to working in an environment where radioisotopes are used in PET imaging agent development (training provided).

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related field with 1-3 years of industrial laboratory experience (preferably pharma).
• Very strong attention to detail and safety as well as problem-solving skills.
• Demonstration of excellent team player skills.
• A high level of learning agility and the ability to work across functions.
