Pharma Bioanalytical Chemist

Job Duties

• Support Bio-Analysis sample preparation
• Design and perform mass-spec analysis as well as data analysis/interpretation from in-vivo studies from triple-quad mass spectrometers (Sciex 7500)
• Characterize recombinant proteins, antibodies, and ADCs using intact-MS and peptide mapping for routine QC using high-res mass spec platforms (Orbitrap)
• Work closely with a team of scientists to support the development, optimization, and execution of analytical assays for protein characterization and bioanalysis to guide large molecule therapeutic design
• Collaborate with the team to meet timelines and deliverables
• Perform general lab maintenance and instrument calibrations

Job Requirements

• BS - Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 2-5 years industry experience or MS with 1-2 years industry experience in a mass spec focused lab on antibodies/ADCs/ proteomics or in a relevant scientific discipline focused on mass spec and ADCs
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Works well both as a team and as an individual
• Demonstrates excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions
