Pet Playtime Coordinator - Palm City

Description

Pet Paradise is seeking Playtime Coordinators to organize and manage daytime play groups at our Palm City resort location.

Essential Functions

• Interacting with and monitoring dogs in play areas (play-yard and pool)
• Using appropriate toys and tools to ensure a safe level of play
• Maintaining visual observation of dogs at all times and spreading attention and play among all dogs in the playgroup
• Minimizing stress levels of all dogs in the playgroup and handling aggressive or unusual behaviors
• Controlling levels of play by following procedures and instructions provided by management and utilizing proper dog handling techniques
• Aiding the team with cleaning and play-yard maintenance duties

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• True passion for working with animals
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity)
• Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
