PET/CT Technologist

As a PET/CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging while providing excellent patient care in a team-focused environment with dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients while ensuring excellent care.
• Assure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through the process and addressing their questions or concerns.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information (PHI).
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
• Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

• Current ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT) with State Nuclear Medicine License or current ARRT(R) certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certification/permit.

Pay

$50.00 - $70.00 per hour.
