Pet Care Specialist for Pet Sitting / Dog Walking Company -Providence, RI

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an experienced Pet Care Professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide dog walking and pet sitting services.

Responsibilities

• Visit client's homes to care for their pets while they are at work or on vacation
• Include tasks such as walking, exercising dogs, providing love and attention, feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to inform them about the visit

Requirements

• You love dogs and/or cats, enjoy the outdoors, and are active in your free time
• You have experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experience with cats/other small animals
• You have reliable transportation, own a smartphone, can work independently, and have good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• You love animals, enjoy learning, and are looking to make a difference daily in the lives of others
• You are seeking part-time to full-time work

Skills

• Experience with dogs and/or cats
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients

Schedule

• At least 1-2 hours of availability during at least 2 of our 4 visit time windows:
• Morning & Afternoon OR Morning & Evening OR Evening & Night
• Morning: 6-10 AM. Afternoon: 11-3 PM. Evening: 4-6 PM. Night: 7-9 PM
• Minimum availability required is at least an hour during 2 of these time slots but more availability leads to more clients
• Open availability on weekends
