Pet Care Specialist for Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Company

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an experienced Pet Care Professional to provide dog walking and pet sitting services. The ideal candidate loves dogs and/or cats, enjoys outdoor activities, has reliable transportation, owns a smartphone, can work independently, and has good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit client's homes to care for their pets while they are at work or on vacation
• Include tasks such as walking, exercising dogs, letting out for bathroom breaks, providing love and attention
• May also include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to inform them about the visit

Requirements

• Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experience with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smartphone
• Can work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills

Pay

• Paid per visit rates based on duration of visit
• Mileage reimbursement
• Tips are welcome but not guaranteed

Schedule

• At least 1-2 hours of availability during at least 2 of our 4 visit time windows: Morning & Afternoon, Morning & Evening, Evening & Night
• Minimum availability required is at least an hour during 2 of these time slots but the more availability, the more clients we can set you up with.
• Open availability weekends are also considered
• You can select your service areas / zip codes
