Pet Care Specialist for Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Company

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an experienced Pet Care Professional to provide dog walking and pet sitting services. The ideal candidate loves dogs and/or cats, enjoys outdoor activities, and has reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Visit client's homes to care for their pets while they are at work or on vacation
• Include tasks such as walking, exercising dogs, letting out for bathroom breaks, providing love & attention, feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to inform them about the visit's outcome

Requirements

• Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experience with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation and own a smart phone
• Ability to work independently and have good communication skills/customer service skills
• A flexible schedule and desire to make a difference in the lives of others
• Part-time work or supplemental income seeking

Qualifications

• Experience working/volunteering with animals (dogs/cats, etc.)
• Passion for working with and helping animals
• Professionalism and commitment to providing high-quality pet care

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
• Knowledge of basic pet care and first aid

Pay

• Paid per visit rates based on visit duration and experience
• Mileage reimbursement
• Tips are welcome but not guaranteed

Schedule

• At least 1-2 hours of availability during at least 2 of our 4 visit time windows: Morning & Afternoon, Morning & Evening, Evening & Night
• Minimum availability required is at least an hour during 2 of these time slots but more availability leads to more clients
• Open availability on weekends is also considered
• You can select your service areas / zip codes
