As a Pest Control Technician, you will serve as a vital subject matter expert, leading client accounts, making independent decisions, and driving tangible results. Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections to determine the source of pest activity and identify pests.
  • Select and implement pest control methods, products, and exclusion practices to create a pest-free environment.
  • Perform pest treatments and install products as required.
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
  • Build relationships with high-profile clients through friendly, helpful, and courteous interactions.
  • Listen to client needs, offer solutions, and recommend additional services to address concerns.
  • Stay current on industry developments, trends, technology, and regulations.
  • Obtain and maintain required federal, state, and local licenses/certifications.
  • Participate in continuous learning and development, including business management, time efficiency, and interpersonal skills training.
  • Document actions taken and recommendations provided during service visits.

Requirements

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background screen.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and undergo a motor vehicle driving record check.
  • Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Client-facing experience preferred.

Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using technology in a work environment (e.g., handheld devices, apps, Google Suite including Gmail, Calendar, and Google Drive).
  • Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in pest control.
  • Comfortable working independently after a training period.
