Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator - IA-Waterloo

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth inspections, develop solutions, and treat customer facilities for commercial accounts.
• Maintain excellent customer relations through professional service, knowledgeable communication, and precise documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships by responding to customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training and company resources to decide on the most efficient solutions.
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Develop knowledge and expertise in pest control methods and products through provided training.
• Maintain accuracy of all customer and IFC records.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to work necessary hours to complete complex customer requirements.
• Some weekend and holiday work required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• Must have the ability to attain a Pest Control License and CDL Class C License with Hazardous material endorsement.
• Good driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.

Physical Demands

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
