Maintenance Technician I

Location: Snohomish, WA

Pay

$28/hr

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasionally 6:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• Overtime: Occasional Saturdays, 4–5 hours

Assignment Duration: 3-6 months

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems
• Assists in repairing woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts following manuals and manufacturer specifications
• Orders necessary supplies and replacement parts
• Completes preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled
• Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Performs duties in alignment with established safety rules and procedures
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participates in safety meetings, continuous improvement programs, and other required sessions
• If assigned to the Treating Department, follows hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures
• Prepares required reports and documentation
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 1+ year machine repair experience in a maintenance environment
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control technology, and welding
