Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (Institutional Personnel Officer), the Personnel Supervisor II is responsible for administering all matters related to the personnel and payroll transactions program at Folsom State Prison (FSP).

Working Conditions

Folsom State Prison is located approximately 30 miles east of downtown Sacramento and just minutes from old town Folsom.

The grounds of the prison are surrounded by beautiful landscaping and friendly wild animals (deer, squirrels, turkeys, geese, etc.).

• Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
• Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
