About the role

Supports the USAF Warfare Center exercise team at Nellis AFB, NV. Candidate will be responsible for work in a multitasking, quick-paced, dynamic environment supporting USAF Warfare Center Large Force Exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of CJCS and COCOM-level exercises.
  • Coordinate and support dynamic and realistic operations for USAF Warfare Center exercises.
  • Thoroughly understand JP 3-50 and PR TTP's to plan and orchestrate the prosecution/resolution of exercise isolating events.
  • Advise, assist, coordinate PR script writing and monitor PR execution tasks (Report, Locate, Support, Recover, Reintegrate).
  • Monitor and advise on emerging PR requirements and new technologies.
  • Contribute to the establishment/maintenance of positive relationships within the CCDR staff and planners.
  • Develop or modify future theater PR plans, intelligence, and information operations based on exercise outcomes.
  • Manage and perform safety observer duties for simulated IPs in field conditions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of combined recent experience with PR operations, AOC operations, exercise planning and scenario development.
  • Knowledge of PR authorities, doctrine, and procedures including published regulations and manuals.
  • Familiarity with strategic/campaign plans and the PR appendix to COCOM OPLANS.
  • Supervisor experience leading ground-based military operational teams.
  • Effective work relationships with team members and senior leaders.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other team members and those contacted while performing required duties.
  • Professional analytical, speaking, and writing skills with experience developing and presenting briefings to senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of combined recent experience with PR operations, AOC PRCC duties, exercise planning, scenario development, local range operations, and IP survivability challenges.
  • Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) PR 200/300 Level Course Graduation Education Requirements.
  • Associates degree in applicable field with 9+ years of experience, or Bachelors degree in applicable field with 7+ years of experience, or Masters degree in applicable field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement for highly experienced candidates.

Skills

  • Excellent proficiency and experience using classified and/or unclassified Common Operating Picture (COP) systems, Microsoft Office, Google Earth Pro, UHF/VHF devices, Guardian Portal, Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) system, and mIRC applications and cyber tools.

Benefits

Due to the dynamic and wide-ranging workload, the Candidate will primarily work on Nellis AFB with duties to be performed at TDY locations and DoD Western Ranges during exercise execution.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Routine travel is expected. Candidates should anticipate one week per quarter but additional travel may be required based on mission requirements. Non-traditional work hours will be required.
