About the role
The Account Coordinator – Processing is a support role, assisting account teams by providing basic administrative and support functions in the day-to-day servicing of clients. This position involves gathering and inputting data into the agency management system, as well as assisting with tasks and processes related to new and renewal accounts. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity available from our Atlantic region offices or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality control after Account Managers service customers, including writing policies and making changes.
- Maintain electronic suspense files in Epic as part of daily work management.
- Assist on various projects as needed and assigned by the Department Manager.
- Process mail.
- Develop, maintain, and demonstrate working knowledge of numerous carriers, including their websites.
- Perform policy checking.
- Create and maintain client files in the agency management system in accordance with office workflow and procedures.
- Work with other departments to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- 2+ years of administration/operations and customer service experience.
- Experience in P&C insurance, especially Personal Lines coverage, preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional education/training preferred.
- Experience with insurance and EPIC software is desired.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-confidence to make sound independent decisions.
- Ability to successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong priority management skills.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $32,000 – $45,000. The offered salary will be determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
