We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate paralegal to support our personal injury practice and provide dependable guidance to clients throughout their cases. The ideal candidate is comfortable coordinating records and deadlines, communicates with empathy, and keeps complex files organized from intake through resolution.

Qualifications

• Prior paralegal or legal-assistant experience preferred
• Personal injury or Virginia civil-litigation experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and deadline management
• Comfort working with case-management, document-management, and electronic-filing systems
• Sound judgment and the ability to protect confidential information

Responsibilities

• Assist with client intake and provide timely, professional case updates
• Request, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, insurance documents, and other evidence
• Help prepare demand packages, discovery responses, pleadings, and filing materials under attorney direction
• Track statutes, deadlines, appointments, and case milestones
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurers, courts, and opposing counsel
• Support settlement and trial preparation while maintaining accurate case records
