Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney to join their Personal Injury team and handle cases from filing through resolution, including trial when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution, including trial when necessary.
• Independently manage litigation dockets, deadlines, case strategy, and progression.
• Actively develop cases, identify opportunities to maximize client value, and drive matters toward settlement or trial.
• Take depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, investigators, experts, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and witnesses.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage deadlines, litigation dockets, and case matters.
• Strong organization, case-management, professional judgment, and communication skills.
