Personal Care Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Personal Care - Nursing Assistant (CNA) to carry out our Mission of Love by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services. You will ensure the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner while assisting residents in reaching or attaining the highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provides care of residents in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, nail care, and oral care.
• Performs procedures included in the NA Training Manual within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Observes residents and answers call bells promptly to respond to residents' care needs.
• Reports observations, changes, unusual conditions, or reactions to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Takes appropriate action as requested or required by the situation.
• Accurately completes, documents, and communicates all resident information and nursing care provided in accordance with Masonic Village policies.
• Provides direct resident care and transports residents to activities and appointments in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Current Nursing Assistant certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Schedule

Casual position with shifts from 5:45 am - 2 pm, including every other weekend, every other Tuesday, and every other holiday.

Pay

Starting at $18/hr plus additional $2.50 Nursing Premium for Nights and $1 Shift Differential for Weekends.
