Personal Care Assistant/CNA

About the role

Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd has a Personal Care Assistant position available in Heritage House, our Assisted Living Facility. The Personal Care Assistant’s job is to assure the safety and dignity of each resident and to strive to maintain each resident at their highest level of function possible. Duties include light duty cleaning, assisting with meals and other light personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assure the safety and dignity of each resident
• Assist with meals and other light personal care tasks
• Light duty cleaning
• Follow a weekend and holiday rotation shift running from 7:30AM to 4PM
• Shift Differentials pay out extra for all hours worked between 2PM-6AM
• Paid for and supported CNA Certification training

Requirements

• Will Train for CNA Certification
• Part Time Shift
• Approximately 56 hours per 2-week pay period

Pay

$17.59 - $22.49 per hour DOE and Certification, plus shift differentials
