Personal Care Assistant/CNA

About the role

Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd has a Personal Care Assistant position available in Heritage House, our Assisted Living Facility. The Personal Care Assistant’s job is to assure the safety and dignity of each resident and to strive to maintain each resident at their highest level of function possible. Duties include light duty cleaning, assisting with meals and other light personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Light duty cleaning
• Assisting with meals
• Other light personal care tasks

Requirements

• Shift runs from 7:30AM to 4PM
• Follows a weekend and holiday rotation
• Approximately 56 hours per 2-week pay period
• Shift Differentials pay out extra for all hours worked between 2PM-6AM
• We pay extra for picked up shifts
• Obtain CNA Certification before 1 year of employment
