About the role
Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd has a Personal Care Assistant position available in Heritage House, our Assisted Living Facility. The Personal Care Assistant’s job is to assure the safety and dignity of each resident and to strive to maintain each resident at their highest level of function possible. Duties include light duty cleaning, assisting with meals and other light personal care tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assure the safety and dignity of each resident
- Assist with meals and other light personal care tasks
- Light duty cleaning
- Follow a weekend and holiday rotation
- Work approximately 56 hours per 2-week pay period
- Receive shift differentials for hours worked between 2PM-6AM
- Receive extra pay for picked up shifts
Requirements
- Will train for CNA Certification
- Must obtain CNA Certification within one year of employment

Schedule
Part Time Shift runs 7:30AM-4:00PM
