Personal Care Assistant / PCA
About the role
Provide one-on-one personal care to patients in their own homes to help them remain independent. Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Critical Nurse Staffing provides unparalleled home health care to the American workforce, including Veterans of the United States Armed Services, Workers Compensation Claims, and former energy workers (eligible for in-home care under the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation) who want to remain independent and live in their own homes.
Employees work in the privacy of each patient’s home, allowing more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care. This support empowers the patient to remain as independent and comfortable as possible in their own home.
Responsibilities
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients
- Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be willing to work 25 hours per week on Monday through Friday
- 0-2 years of experience
Pay
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
$500 sign-on bonus
