Personal Care Assistant / PCA

About the role

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant / PCA to support senior clients in maintaining their dignity and independence through non-medical care and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and caregiving assistance within clients' homes
• Assess and prioritize daily tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping
• Assist with non-medical elderly care tasks including feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene
• Communicate proactively with the office about client needs and conditions
• Log and submit accurate documentation of caregiving activities

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and current valid driver's license
• 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of home care experience a plus
