Personal Care Assistant / PCA

About the role

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant / PCA to provide non-medical care and home companionship to senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and caregiving assistance within clients' homes
• Assess and prioritize daily tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping
• Assist with non-medical elderly care tasks including feeding and bathing
• Preserve client dignity and provide gentle, professional care
• Communicate regularly with the office about client needs and conditions
• Log and submit accurate documentation of caregiving activities

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Current valid driver's license
• 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of home care experience (optional)

Benefits

• Competitive wage of $19-$22/hr

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with opportunities for day and night shifts. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
